You may not recall it, but I always thought that both the 1967 book and the 1976 film adaptation of Logan's Run could be told as “Jessica's Run”, because it was, after all, and she had a past also, and her story might be interesting.

Andromeda Strain from the POV of a vulture. It would be short obviously and trying to get into the mind of a bird would take skill because there'd be a need to not anthropomorphize the animal.
