We've done the freezing rain, sleet, and snow last week. It was great working only one day in seven but I think that we know what that stuff is now and value that IT ISN'T SUPPOSE TO HAPPEN HERE. Go try gifting the polar regions with that stuff which are synonymous with cold and snow. We don't NeeeeeeD a repeat of last week.

Had a discussion with the former bedpartner/spouse who is a meteorologist. (He doesn't believe in this global warming crap) It was a friendly discussion but it was frustrating even when I couched it in terms that did not say anything about 'warming globally' but mentioned the increased precipitation world wide which makes sense if you free more water there's more for the weather to work with. You'll be happy to know that you Aussie's just failed to make adequate preparations for this sort of thing. *head desk*

It's snowing here right now. We're supposed to get 8-12 inches of snow tonight. It's very cold. I don't think that the weather has figured out it isn't supposed to do this here either. Here is about 250 miles north of you. Normally we get about 3 or 4 inches and the next day it is 50, 60 or even 70 degrees and it melts.

I do not want to get myself and my child to our respective schools just to have a hazardous trip to recover him and myself when they figure out that it is dangerous to drive out there.
