outer border = 6" wide
inner border = 2 1/2"
strip sets == Make 5 of these set
Sew 2 pattern stripsets + pattern and white stripset (white on outside) == A
Sew 2 pattern stripsets + white stripset (white on inside) and pattern == B
Cut 2 1/2"width across these stripsets
Stack these separately into A and B piles
Sew 2 A on outside & 2 B on inside so that white squares align diagonally == Granny Square Block
Cut diagonally across white squares = triangles
When you sew 4 of these together to make a square, put the white triangles edge on the outside.
Sew sashing between granny squares with the sashing on top to stabilize the block's bias edge
Do this 4 granny blocks to a row.
Sew sashing between these 5 rows in a long strip.
