Summary: The first female djinn who is not family has come to visit.
Word count: 448
The business that Lustful Liaisons was in made her lip curl, except that on a second look there was love here. Love between mates and between those who could be considered as family. Those that hadn’t found a mate yet were going through the search to find a mate or they were playing until they did. No one was hurt by the business as it was practiced here. It was a good place to raise their newest little sister. The love would nurture her for the tasks that she would be called upon to fulfill when she was older, would fill her soul.
Kazandra gave particular study to Habib’s initial container. He had a strength to him that made her see why he had attracted the master who was his mate. There was an inner glow of goodness to him that must have been there before the claiming, though perhaps not too good. A smile pulled her lips up in a smirk. The Master for all that they had a new djinnling to care for and the added stress of visitors, still seemed at that gooey stage of romance. Kain and his Dick (oh her lips did curl upwards in amusement at that phrase) were of a class to almost be worthy to have been born female. That Kain was Kishalini’s sibling made this understandable. Qualities did follow in families.
Yes, she would enjoy her visit here. Nurturing was not just for the young and it had been a while since she had been in so pleasant a home. Perhaps it was time for a visit to her own family. It had been too long.
That decision was reinforced during the night while she lounged in the bed next to Kishalini quietly discussing the ways of the Sands. Habib was between them on the silken sheets absorbing their talk, little eyes following the conversation. The low moans coming from the next room disturbed her concentration and had her reaching to pull the cold fire of her sword from the air at her side. Kishalini laid a hand on her arm to stay the drawing of her weapon.
In sympathy she smiled with amusement, “there’s no need. You will get use to it if you stay long. They love each other and are quite vocal though I think they have made an effort to be quieter for you.”
Glancing down at the little one between them, whose face was crinkled with silent baby laughter, the only thing she could think to ask was, “This is them being quieter?”
Kishalini picked up Habib, dandling her above her on the bed, as both went off into giggles.
“Shhh, they’ll hear you?”

It seems that the movers of the Sands are not so lonely after all, as Rashika seems to have a companion. It would be sad to think of Habib having a solitary existence when she had started her life at LL.

Yes, this 'verse is becoming "real". Can't believe the number of stories that have come out of it. *moans* Now I need to go think up something for a character named Rashika to be written into.
