Title: Archive: Stele Monitor.
Author: charisstoma
Content: Follow up to the discharge of stele sparks from the Monitor’s POV. Giving Dibbs what she asked for *snickers* and for Mee_eep, poor well rounded Faisal.
Word count: 235
How incautious are these males to stroke the stele that holds the young. Only a frown stood between the indiscriminate release of the many little souls. It hurt to have to send them back to wait in the stele for we have all dwelt there before our present outside lives. Most forget where they came from after they slip through the tunnels of The Sands to the container they choose as their first. Most djinnling chose wisely but a few have been tricked and suffered or died because of it.
The little one who chose the stroker of the stele, I think has chosen well. It is all the better that the other parent is of the Dragon Djinn. We have never had one of ours to be born amongst the Protectors. It should be interesting as the Archive container already is occupied. I would laugh when they discover that there are two contained but the pain will be more for the other little inhabitant. The little ones grow so close while within. I shall have to report this to Fadhili so that she can set up and continue their monitoring. Great things will probably result from both of them, little Noor and Ngan. For now, I watch the little ones still under my care, humming to them the songs of old knowledge to keep them entertained and hopefully teaching them if they will listen.

Date: 2011-01-17 09:15 pm (UTC)Dragon djinnlings and books as containers.. imagine when they hickup or burp with tiny bursts of flames. You know that once they figure out how to do it they will be doing it all the more especially for the attention that the panicking adults around them will be giving.
Enter little djinnling giggles here.
Varen will be quite calm and amused and take them to a fire safe area for their instruction in 'this is where we are allowed to do this, other places are only with permission'. Large parental dragons inspire a LOT of respect. This may mean that Noor gets to stay with her parents longer. Varen is a good authority/role model for self control.
Faisal will teach them organization and the joy of the written word, Varen self control and the love and joy of life as well as responsibility, and Rashika will add lore, magic, and history as well as supplimenting the others' qualities. Ngan will be quite powerful with what he gets from his parents and what Rashika teaches.
