Coal thought about it then lazily cocked a leg to better groom, there was that hard to get at itch by his tail, ooooh lovely.
RESPECT ME MORTAL
Perhaps he should answer, if the demon insisted on shouting he'd never get his nap in, it was nice and warm here by the fire.

Coal smirked into the flames 'you don't stand a chance'

Lee had thought it funny snapping the picture; posting it on his journal, gathering all the likes from facebook. It had proved poplar, his Coal staring into the fire with intent. Lots of witty comments.
Not so funny now. His Coal on the rug in front of the waning fire wrapped around another feline form. Also coal black with bright watchful eyes that glowed in the dark living-room. Something odd about this new cat, something that tickled his senses.
One cat was all any sane man would choose to deal with, even if he was a witch in training and owning a black cat was considered a must. Lee often wondered who owned who, and was glad Coal couldn't talk to clarify.
This new cat looked settled, it moved slightly to better watch him and woke Coal who grumbled without opening his eyes. New cat snuggled back getting a purr and looking pleased with itself for the acclaim.
Lee had a bad feeling about this. But his Coal couldn't summon demons, could he?
Lee is in so much trouble and though EXEK$£$&IAL is dark(he's black after all) he is totally out of his element. Cats are superior and a demon may look like a cat but there's a learning curve that starts in kittenhood. EXEK$£$&IAL must be young. Does his parents know he's escaped the Demon Plane?
