Summary: Kain’s wakefulness leads to a morning’s resolve.
Kain looked down on his Dick, who lay quiet and sated in slumber. Eyes traced the rounded curve of shoulder to angle down over the smooth bumps of ribs on the sides and became distracted by the gently carved row of the abs that were all that could be seen from the position of body and sheets. He’d sought out this person when the scrying of the mirror had revealed him, sure with the confidence in his abilities that this person was his to keep. Manipulated events until he’d been able to take his Dick, polishing him into acceptance of his place in his life.
But his Dick was only human and so would age. Kain’s only until he was lost to the Death God’s clutches. He could lie to himself and believe that another in time would be born to take his current lover’s place. It was possible that the tales of reincarnation were true and his Dick would rise in another body for him to find and reclaim.
Kain for all that he was a being of magic and myth chose not to believe in such claims. There would be a way to give his lover the immortality equal to that of a djinn; but if he did.. How to find a way to give his lover’s soul equal immortality so that the body did not become an empty shell? On that quiet morning before any of the other djinn had woken, Kain began a quest for the perfect spell to join them forever, that he never lose his Dick. For now he curled around his lover trying not to wake him with his wanting.
