hot glue gun
plastic easter eggs
brown spray paint - do several light coats and let dry before gluing the two halve back together.
pine cone bracts - glue, arrange in a couple-three rows
stick - glue to end of acorn
sisal twine - wind around acorn to cover the ends of the bracts and the stick and form cap.
Could see this done in gold, white or silver and powder the 'eggs' in clear glitter while still wet.
