Hey, even a fountain pen, one of those ink pens you can fill with the ink of your choice (old school), would be better and if it's so you can learn how to use a quill to write in blood (they don't make that kind of pen yet... that I know of, probably have to go to hell and back to buy one. Just load your fountain pen with blood and it's all the same.

LOL so true. It's the sense of novelty as a kid I'd have loved a fancy quill (maybe would now) but in reality no-one said 'notebook?' not even eve practical Hermoine?

Saw a funny 'Mandy' cartoon in the paper the other week too.

Mandy is reading to her daughter about two kids lost in the woods spreading breadcrumbs.. and her daughter pipes up - Why couldn't they use the GPS on their phones?

Reality *sighs* and advances.

*coughs* Think I bought a quill back in the day but then I was in raptures when I found my godmother's leftover, from who knows what decade, sealing wax.

Ah yes, GPS. The evil stepmother would have cancelled their service on their phones.

Floppy disk. The real kind, 8" square and bends easily.
Am fighting hard not to learn about Cloud Memory.

LOL I have a pretty fountain pen, the type you dip in ink, um calligraphy...lol....my writing is awful! but it is pretty.

GPS - I have no clue how to work it, but I know it exists *proud*

cloud.....*grumble* it means your info is out there floating through the inernets and not here, solid where you want it! and er that sounded far dirtier than intended ;)

It's why there's still something special about paper books. They're more real.
