"It was the eyes that caught Zip's attention first, making him stop mid-step and nudge his brother.

"What?" Zap growled as he stumbled to a halt, barely managing to prevent a full on twin-familiar tumble. Walking on two legs was highly over rated, especially when it came to being graceful.

"Look!" Zip nodded in the direction of the pure white cat with the multicolored eyes - not even odd eyes where one eye was one color, and the other was something else, but BOTH eyes with TWO colors.

"That's Mage," their friend Harry - not of familiar stock but a good friend and wizard for all that - snickered as he saw the twins' attention riveted on the long, lean feline figure. "Part persian mage, part persian familiar."

"Part mage?" Zip's eyebrow arched in suprise.

"Mage," Harry confirmed. "And part persian familiar."

"Is that even possible?" Zap questioned.

"Must be, because here he is, named so all will know what he is."

"A warning?" Zip asked.

"More than likely," Harry responded. "I'm surprised they let him enroll. Now, we need to get to class . . . "

"Oh no," Zap replied "we can't go to class - we need to . . . "

"Find out more," his twin finished for him as they both started heading in the direction of the exquisite white cat."

Alas poor Harry, doomed to suffer unrequited love - pure bred wizard who is hoping that one (or, preferably, both) of the twins would become his familiar. But, as you can see, they are off chasing rarer jewels.

he has some white but his eyes are hard to get a color read of, they seem to change color from day to day.
