Rome's gay priest scandal

Are we not all sinners in the eyes of the church? How is being homosexual and not acting on those desires a sin that requires them to be weeded out from serving the church? The church needs to take a long look at itself and re-evaluate.
They ordain priests who are already married.
They should be able to have gay priests who still exemplify the church's standards of a righteous person.
While we're at it, church sanctioned gay marriage should have already been approved. Two people in love in a committed relationship and in some families' cases raising children is what a marriage is all about.
I believe this is what they call a 'witch hunt'.

some religions (if not all) end up being an instrument of power to dominate people and make them think what they want to, not what "God" wants to (after all i don't believe in a God that "want" us to be this or that way )
