“Windhover,” Simon said on seeing the motionless figure above.
“You know Windy? Should I be worried?” Andy grinned.
Scowling, “More important, how do you know a Windhover?” Simon asked.
“Oh no, you first.”
“Asshole tried to eat me once.”
“Well yes, incompetent lovers can be irritating but they learn with training.”
“You were a quick study, Andy. No, that Kestrel swooped down, talons out, to kill me.”
“Windy? That doesn’t sound like Windy.”
“He looked like a worm at the time. How was I to know he was a young snake familiar,” a man said swooping down in falcon form.
