“Aahhhhh,” the double expresso hit just the right spot.

Simon scowled at Andy.

Smugly smiling, “You’re good but you’re not the only love in my life.”

“What else am I competing with?”

“Chocolate and…” A bird dropped down to their table with an acorn in its beak.

Carefully putting the acorn down in front of Andy it cocked its head looking at him.

“Alright, but not too much.” Andy nudged the cup forward and the Jay dipped and raised its beak several times drinking, before flying off with a ‘Thank You’.

As Simon growled Andy grinned, “She’s just a friend.”
