As he crept into the Library, Anthony castigated himself. He was a guest and shouldn’t abuse his host’s hospitality. Yet here he was seeking out a specific book he’d overheard his host mentioning to another. His curiosity wouldn’t let him not at least look for the book with its hidden information supposedly secreted inside.
In the scant moonlight he pulled down a heavy tome with the golden lettered title, Positī Obscoenitās. Nothing hid between mull and spine.
“Tsk, tsk,” his host’s voice said in the darkness.
“Indeed.”
“What shall we do with him?”
Lustful chuckles answered.
“We’ll think of something.”
