the problem here is that since we are in the city, houses are built side-by-side with practically no space in between and the nieghbors care not a whit about pest control so we had to make and be alert with termites as they crawl from the cement from the neighbor's wall to look for wood and settle in our house. *sighs*
as for the a/c unit, we tend to go to the malls to cool off during hot holidays and after office if the heat is too much and then go home and have our electric fans pointed at us when we get home to keep ourselves cool even after drinking ice-cold water. XD
mildew is really as bad as molds! ugh! DX we also had to wash our sheets as often as possible and keep the house as clean as possible especially the "moist" areas like under the sink and the bathrooms.
