Thad stood in the doorway leaning on the door jam, gazing over at the bed, remembering past nights of long slow lovemaking with Alex. He knew there must be something between a drooling leer and a sappy romantic smile on his face but he didn’t care.

‘We are good together, Alex and I.’ The leer must be more pronounced, ‘especially after a full moon.’

He looked at Alex's full moon gleaming on the bed in what remained of the bright moonlight.

“Will you stop mooning and get over here.”

Thad grinned, “Yes, love,” moving eagerly forward into the rich present.
