It works probably better in present day where nothing criminal is attached to same sex partnering. Legalities of being underage doesn't come into it since Drew's almost legal enough to have his inheritance given over to him. Soooo if only Tony can be convinced and hopefully he will be a hard sell enough that there'll be some convincing needed. THEN I won't be suspicious.
