“Is he suppose to be like that?”
The medical examiner put down his case looking at the corpse and then at the detective with a spot of humor in his eye before saying, “It happens.”
“But Doc, he’s dead. How’s he … um,” Tucker waved his hand in the direction of the corpse’s mid-section.
“It’s caused by pressure on the cerebellum. Spinal cord injuries can cause the condition too. In a way it could be a kind of consolation to the nearest and dearest of the victim. It indicates their loved one died violently but swiftly, known as Angel Lust.”
“The wife doesn’t think so. She’s saying that it’s just like him, that after she kills him for not getting it up for her then he gets an erection.” Tucker gestured at the corpse again, “Can I cut him down now?”
