Title: The Eyes Have It (PG for horror)

Prompt: Eyes
Black enfolded him in the dream, a soft caging around him. Yet he could tell he wasn’t alone. There was something or someone in this empty enclosing darkness with him. He could feel it. Without thinking his dream self reached into its pocket and extracted a lighter. He wished it hadn’t.
‘The walls.’ The walls glistened, white rounded things flickering against bright blood pulsing red. Inside the liquid shine of white, color moved, focusing on him. Myriad eyes in the walls stared at him, twitching in insane frenzy. The dream ended.
Wylan awoke, his heart pounding, within disquieting formless dark.
