charisstomaI've been reading the newest Amanda Quick novel, The Mystery Woman. That's my excuse. All other things like STAAR testing and students doing research and student sitting on the small barely supported ledge that is part of my circulation desk while I was assisting another student has nothing to do with my absence, nothing at all. Too I'm not sure I like the way this turned out. *shrugs*

“In theory this should work.”
Brant snorted.
“Look, you don’t always get empirical results. Sometimes you have to take a long look and go with what feels right.”
“Why don’t you just say you think it will work but you’ve never tried it? You could at least have asked around to see if others have had any luck doing it this way.”
Keith ground his teeth together. “There is literature, if you’d care to read.” He was interrupted by another rude noise from Brant.
“Anyone can slap some fiction together. That doesn’t mean that it has any basis in reality.”
Voice rising, “Will you get over yourself, already. They wouldn’t sell this stuff, in many different varieties and flavors, if people didn’t use it with good results and come back for more.”
Brant hrumped, staring at the bottle in his hand.
Growling Keith finally gave into the inevitable, it was either that or they’d never get passed the friend stage and into the boyfriend stage. With a snarl, “Alright, I’ll go first!” Under his breath, “not like you’ve read anything about how to do this.”
“Alright yourself. Let’s see how you think this should be done.”
Keith ripped open the hermetically sealed foil packet and stared from it to his slightly stiffened self.
“Oh for …,” Brant took the condom away from him, “like this and then you drizzle this into your hand and smear it over top.”
“And you know this how?” Keith demanded.
“You Tube.”
