This followed me from here Let's examine thisand I had to put it to bed so I could get some sleep.
Title: Puzzle
Author: charisstoma
Word count: 206
Crag reclined back on the bed after his shower working the word puzzle, listening to the shower that still ran in the other room. He’d solved the 4 scrambled words and was at the point of reading the cartoon clue to what the final part of the puzzle. A smile stretched across his face as he looked at the cartoon, two cavemen, one naked and being offered animal skin clothing by the other who held a club in one hand and a lazy ‘I want some’ look in his eyes. The caption read, “If there were no sex then money would have no ________.
He looked up as his lover appeared in the door way from his own shower, rubbing his hair dry with a towel.
“What has you so amused?,” Tor asked as he dropped down onto the bed, jerking the newspaper section out of Crag’s hands. With a laugh he read the cartoon and dropped it on the floor; “Meaning,” he said.
“Obviously, the puzzle creator is an abominable lover if he thinks he has to pay for it.” A kiss punctuated Tor’s observation. “So, are you bottoming tonight or am I?” was asked with a lazy ‘I want some’ look in his eyes.
