Boy, I'm glad we don't have weather like that here. I do a lot of walking and I wouldn't want to be out in that.

Mayfest 1995.
They do things very differently now-a-days. More careful weather monitoring.
Mayfest is kind of an art fair with food and such done in a large Fort Worth park with tents for protection from inclement weather.
No real protection from the hail storm.

I remember watching the hail bouncing through the grass in the backyard like tennis balls. Wondrous.
