OLD FASHIONED RICE PUDDING

Rich creamy taste enhanced with cinnamon.
1/2 c. short grain Rice ( use Rice Maker?)
1/2 c water
1 stick of cinnamon
4 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 t vanilla extract
1 tbsp. butter ?
Rinse rice and put in water with cinnamon.
Bring to boil over medium head, reduce to low and cook 15 minutes or until water is absorbed.
Add milk, sugar and vanilla to cooked rice. Stir to mix.
Bring to boil at medium heat then reduce to low.
Cook 45 minutes until thick and creamy.
Serve chilled.

pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg
add zest of lemon with vanilla
