This Fresh Hues Ombre Digitally Printed Roll Up contains 40 2.5" x 44" strips of fabric. You receive 2-3 pieces of each print. To make your own Rising Star Quilt, you’ll need:
1 package of 10” squares
2 1/2" strips patterned fabrics
¾ yard for binding
3¾ yards for backing
Makes a 57” x 66” Quilt
Angle strip so that it lays with edge from corner along one side to about 2" from fabric edge along the same side.Sew 1/4".
Trim off excess where it extends past the edge of the square and press seam open.
Repeat with another strip overlaid from corner to 2" in from corner so 2" strip width overlays 2" sewn on strip. Sew. Trim excess past square's edge and press.
Make 4 of these blocks for each star.
Alternates:
use 5" background squares.
arrange blocks in different alignments.
