Supplies:

• 1 pack of 10" Squares (Print)
• 2 rolls of 1 1/2" Strips (Solid Light/Dark)
• 3/4 yds. of Inner Border
• 11/2 yds. of Outer Border
• 51/4 yds. of Backing

Sew a black and a white strips together, then cut (180) 1 1/2" long small strips to make (90) 4 patches.
Cut longer strips ino 5 1/2" segments. Cut 2 of these for every 4 patch.
Sew 5 1/2" strips either side of 4 patch matching opposite colors. = center of block.

Layer (2) 10" squares and sew around outside edges. Cut from corners to corners diagonally and horizontally and vertically at mid points on sides. Press open triangles.

Take 2 triangles and match hypotenuse center seam of triangle to center seam of 4 patch. Sew triangles either side of 4 patch part of strip.
Trim off into square.

8 blocks across X 10 blocks

2 1/2" inner border
5 1/2" outer border
