Theoretically the pose of the female figure is so she can keep her balance while being tipped off center while being kissed. Also one could romantically loop a leg around the person tipping you backwards which would bring pelvises into frontal alignment.
hmmmm So what if you bring up the inside leg instead, thereby not bringing pelvises into contact, will the balance then you tip over to the side and on to the ground? Does this instead signify that you want a rear approach and you're on the ground already.....
