It's an ant... um no it's not
May. 11th, 2014 01:45 pmThere were a few ants on the ground, while taking things out through the garage. I'd raised the door and this ant floated down to about my head height on an invisible string. Put a piece of paper under it and counted legs. Uh huh. It was relocated to a nearby bush. Which is where the second floating ant went too. Then I left the area. *shudders*

This is Ant-mimic spider - Synemosyna formica. I didn't look too closely at what I had but it looked a lot like this.
And this is why I like to sleep with something covering my ears. http://www.thefeaturedcreature.com/2012/08/doctors-remove-spider-hiding-inside.html
My mother told me about this happening to someone she knew once. People thought the girl was crazy because she said she could heard stomping in one ear. Finally they put warm oil in her ear with a cotton ball to hold it in. Couple days later they took the cotton ball out and with the oil was a small dead spider.
