FB3X Drabble Cascade #29 - Yarn
Title: The Means of Knowledge (PG, m/m)

Prompt: Yarn
I'm surprised that no one used Yarn as in Tale before this.
The tale was old, you could tell from words’ cadence, the theme was eternal; love found, love lost, love regained. What Mother wasn’t prepared for was what was recounted after the ‘love regained’. She sent us away from the fire to wash up for bed. I noticed though that she and father and our guests stayed to hear and there was ribald laughter that filtered through the night’s darkness.
“I know what the bard is saying.”
I arched my brow at him skeptically, “Heard it before?”
“Come here and I’ll show you.”
We were alone. My education was most pleasurable.
