More whining me
Jul. 9th, 2012 09:33 amI know that I'm being very tunnel visioned here but with all the water I've been drinking and thinking about what's happening in 2 days and how to pay for it, I'm very like Sheldon from Big Bang Theory and his timely 'Everyone knows I always move my bowels at (forgot what time) in the morning.'
'Scared the shit out of me' is not a cliche, I do it for regular doctors' appt. too.
Am not dwelling on it but why do I have to flush my intestines for the surgery again? Yeah, I know, Just in case.
In other news, I have made my second small loaf of whole wheat oatmeal bread in the bread machine and might have tweaked the recipe to where I like it. Original recipe called for lemon juice which never lasts long here with a child who drinks the Real Lemon straight from the bottle. Tried wine vinegar because that's all I had. Bread didn't taste right, kind of sour and not enough salt. Increase of salt, mollasses, and doing away with lemon/vinegar worked well. It's still missing that overt oatmeal where you can pull a piece of oatmeal from the slice as you eat it. Am using the old fashioned rolled oats rather than more processed oatmeal. There's a second knead in the bread machine cycle, add more oatmeal then but I'd have to add more water maybe? hmmm.
