After the festivities
Apr. 17th, 2010 09:43 pmThere is a joke about one way to releave pain felt in one place in your body is to inflict pain in another place in your body.
My body aches from gardening. It is raining and raining and raining. There is much standing water. I wear Crocs, the most wonderfully comfortable shoes though they are made with holes in them through which water can enter. If the Crocs have been worn until the tread on the soles is smooth they become slippery on wet surfaces.
I don't notice the generalized ache from gardening so much anymore however my elbow point is letting me know that I really need to learn how to roll gracefully into a fall.
