First day back at school with students
Aug. 24th, 2009 06:09 pmThe e-mail messages from the office changed as the day progressed. The sentences becoming shorter as did the words. Words that did not require much high intellect to understand.
All I needed was a new phone list since we'd had a replacement of one teacher and over the summer sometimes classrooms change around under such conditions. It's totally understandable, I think, to make the posting subject line: "timidly approaches the harried office personnel".
I got my answer and did not have my head handed to me, *big sigh of relief* but then the school secretary is a real sweetie.
There are two types of people one does not make angry at you; the custodians and the school secretaries. They know where you live during the day.
