Ordered a textbook. The USPS dropped it on the walkway in front of the house. It's been raining alot lately. I was able to rip the sodden package apart easily. The book was not wrapped in even a plastic baggy inside the package. Book may be reclaimable but you'd think that the seller for my shipping money could make an effort to waterproof the book a little.
Am going to talk to the postal people tomorrow, there are more books yet to arrive. You'd think that if it won't fit in our large mailbox then they'd leave a slip to go pick it up at the post office, wouldn't you.
Why am I not surprised though. I've had one check and two other important pieces of mail (that I know of) go missing that were sent via USPS during this last year. If the thing doesn't have a tracking number they really can't be bothered.
