A rare ‘megabat’ regularly found in Filipino forests. They can have up to a near 6 foot wingspan.
Giant Bat Captured. A gargantuan bat appears to have been caught by military personnel in the Philippines. If real, this is probably some species of megabat, referred to as a flying fox. These bats can have wingspans close to 6 feet wide.
