The texts (if you squint) are saying things that could be taken two ways. "fuck around" is a euphemism for 'to do nothing important' as well as could be taken literally. Am glad the ambiguity came through with the Diary entry.
I'm hoping that the MDL will get his head out and that the texts were just overprotective office staff running interference, but we'll see. Don't you just love stories that write themselves. This one didn't really feel like making its way out of my fingers, I'm glad you liked it.
