Although the ingredients seem odd it makes the hands-down BEST crock pot roast around.
If you’re a fan of mouthwatering meat, with juices that drip off the fork as you’re taking a bite then you have to try this Mississippi Roast. Ddinner, an evening snack and in the morning with eggs. It’s an addictive flavor and it is so versatile for leftovers that you can throw it together with any sauce or toppings and it’ll seem brand new.
This is an easy one to please anyone, because it has basic flavors. One time, we even added some salsa to leftovers and had tacos
Ingredients
1 4 lb beef chuck roast
1/4 cup butter
5 pepperoncini peppers
1 (1 ounce) packet ranch dressing mix
1 (1 ounce) packet dry au jus mix
Directions
Place roast in a slow cooker. Form a pocket in the top of roast and place butter, pepperoncini peppers, ranch dressing mix, and au jus mix in the pocket.
Cook on Low for 8 hours.
Quick Tip: Really, any type of roast will work with this recipe, throw it over the top of roasted potatoes!
