*laughing* On a school trip, our guide made a point of pointing out a poison ivy plant so we would avoid them. At the end of the trip one student brought up a sprig and asked what it was. *SIGHS* Yep. Some people are immune to it. There are some that are hyper-sensitive to it so that pollen will affect them. It's the plant's oils that cause the reaction for most and washing it off with soap and water soon after exposure will prevent most problems. There's also a shot you can get if you've got a break out. But you can't be exposed to it again for a period of time afterwards, even a little, or it comes back.
