The testing room was in one of the older of the university’s buildings. Edwin loved the building’s Rococo style, the wooden floors that creaked discretely when walked and sometimes when not.
Pencil to paper he answered the questions and stopped at the last problem, trying to ignore the yummy proctor. The diagram at the end represented a starch molecule but what he saw were stars. Neatly he labeled it, amylopectin molecule, starch or a star constellation named the Orgy.
The test when it was returned to him had a 95 on it and a note, ‘see me after class’.
