Entering the kitchen, Simon found Andy standing at the counter nibbling away at some bacon wrapped tidbit. There were only five more left on the aluminum foil lined baking tray. Andy had a sixth held between fingers and thumb.

“They must be good because it looks like you’ve eaten most of them.” He reached for one and Simon growled something like, ‘make your own, these are mine,” while hovering an arm around the tray.

Trying a plaintive, “sharing?” and when that didn’t work, “please,” resulted in Andy reluctantly allow him … one.

His mouth did something snake familiars shouldn’t; it combusted.

Caught in the act

White tail deer. Males regrow their antlers every year. About one in 10,000 females also have antlers, although this is usually associated with hermaphroditism. Soooooo....

"I don't care. You smell like a doe. You act like a doe. You're a doe, damn it."

Deep in the mood or Andy, Simon didn’t really want to be distracted but he paused, his familiar senses quivering and adjusting his hands under Andy’s cheeks stood to better survey the greenery around them. To his credit he didn’t lose his rhythm and Andy enjoyed the change in position judging by his whimpered moans.

A small young voice asked, “whatcha doing, mister?” and was answered by another snickering voice, “nothing you couldn’t scry in a mirror if you knew where to look.”
