This is dark. It’s something that awaits us unless we’re lucky or is that very unlucky.

I hear the honeyed ugliness in the voice as it says, “You’ve gotten yourself all a mess, haven’t you. We’ll just have to clean you up.”

There’s a wiping of the biting warmth from my bowels emptying. If only they’d answered my call button. Unable to talk, I’m able enough to use the bedside toilet with help.

In denial I jerk my head frantically as I feel a finger enter my vagina and the burning acid shit being pressed in.

“It shouldn’t take long for that urinary infection to kill you sweetie,” the gloating voice continued, “happens all the time.”

No need to be torturous. A small bit of soap in the wrong place during a shower will infect you just as easily.

hmmm yes but this setting is a nursing home where you are at the mercy of your caregivers. I see there is better information needed.

I have a friend who can not use bleach in her laundry. That brings on a case of yeast infection for her. One wonders why we were built this way where the least little thing can cause that horror of itching that in its extreme if not dealt with properly can cause kidney failure.

I could tell she was at his(?) mercy and whoever that was deserves kidney stones and ulcers and all the other painful things that happen to our bodies. But I'd expect a little subtly, so as not to get caught.

How did we survive before modern technology? Antibiotics and yeast infection meds and all that. People must have dropped like flies.

Usually the nurses are too busy and stressed but I sat on a jury where there was elder abuse as the charge. Here there's an extra weight added to the charges if it occurs against an elderly person.

This story was something I needed to exorcise out of my head.

Had experience of nursing homes/hospitals being callous and heard too many horror stories :(

Nursing homes especially have horror tales. You're almost lucky to die in a car accident.
