Fine gold strands of links slithered over his flesh. His body playing peek-a-boo as he danced, the music in the background filled his senses and the coolness of the chains tickled where they touched and swayed against him. His mind was in a different place, separated from everything except for those things most immediate; the chains, the music, the shackles that suspended him for the viewers’ entertainment where he stood raised above the other dancers in the spot lit dimness of the club.

Someone would bid for his time this night and to the winner he’d belong … for awhile.
