Tube Quilting - Hour Glass on Point

Seams are 1/4"
2 - 2 1/2" contrasting strips - sew these together, press open.
1 - 4 1/4" strip that picks up colors of contrasting strips - sew to sewn together contrasting strips on both sides to form a tube

Cut above flat strips that have been sewn into tube at a 45* angle using Omnigrid ruler angle lain on stitching lines alternating to cutting along top and bottom seams.

= Hour Glass quilt pattern Done on Point.

Hmm you could do the 'chevron' and make a zig-zag (possibly or more likely stripes) then a row of diamonds alternating the hour/glass with the different centre coloured squares.

If I end up making a quilt before you do there shall be WORDS!!

And I've been thinking hexi-puffs again - MINNIONS :D:D:D:D:D:D
Must be done. Soon as I finish the hat I'm nearly done with and made one for my dad.

When I first bumped into the tutorials from the Missouri company I was like ack! Now I've kind of gotten addicted to her. She is able to do magic.
I saw those chevrons appearing and went hmmm. Considering that I was trying to figure out how to put some block 'on point' it's given me food for thought.
I need to dust off the sewing machine, which has sat there for years. I'm afraid. And truthfully I'd rather construct drabbles. *grins* Can't you see me hand piecing at work.

I suspect witchcraft! She makes it all look so easy and doable!
She even Smiles when she's doing it!

Yes. Exactly. But she uses her magic for good. *nods head convinced*

Tormenting would be crafters? A noble/evil calling.
