Drabble Cascade #83 – “Wick”

Drabble Cascade at FB3X - Every Tuesday

Title: The Dance (m/m, PG, erotica)
Author: charisstoma
Word count: 100

The flame burned, fat and golden white; its body undulating upon the wick at every stray waft of air. Like the flame, so too moved the two bodies that its light shone upon. It’s light liming the figures upon the bed in its glow.
Muscles bunching, one body thrust forward with a graceful arching of spine before pulling back only to return on another inward surge. Below him, the body rose to receive each thrust; fingers clutching, digging and massaging the ass of his lover. Breathy moans stirred the air and the candle’s flame danced with and upon their passion.

And I wrote this at school clandestinely. YEA me.

I really liked the candle flame image, the way is waivers and flares, occasionally sending up a spark on a trail of thin soot, and inside it hide an open space that holds no fire, a flame's seemingly calm center .

Very beautiful imagery I can see it all so clearly in my head.

The movement of the flame and the movement of the bodies, nicely done :)

a wonderful contrasting of darkness and light as you speak of shadows and forms. ;)

Thank you. I liked how this came out. *grins* or was it in... or out.. or in and out.

There's a reason candle flames and fires hold our attention. They have magic and seem alive.
