Ah sorry. *giggling* It's under cut now. *smiles*
Too late?

On the plus side in "Lair of the Ice Worm", it mentions there's a critter that eats them and it looks like a Pill bug/rolly-polly/it's a crustacean (they like to live under rocks and wet leaves and such and when touched they turn into a grey bead).

AND now you're talking about them, those ICKY things. Tricking me into reading about them *shudder*

You're evil. And I'm not buying that 'sorry' not at all - I hear you giggling there. That is a distinctly EVIL GIGGLE!

*hangs head* It's true.
pay no attention to the giggling.

For the record, I went ewwwwwe and then oh neat.
And my son's reaction was very similar to yours.

I thought they looked like centipedes. Which is pretty icky.
Life under extreme conditions without the energy source of the sun involved, it's pretty awesome if you can get past all the legs and bristly antenna like parts.
