Italian Pizza Bake
Ingredients

1/3 cup Bisquick Heart Smart® mix
2 tablespoons fat-free egg product or 1 egg white
1 tablespoon water
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 cup diced green or yellow bell pepper
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup cut-up cooked chicken breast or (browned ground beef)
1/2 cup diced tomatoes with Italian-style herbs, drained (from 14.5-oz can)
1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 cup shredded reduced-fat mozzarella cheese

Directions
Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 8x4-inch loaf pan with cooking spray. In small bowl, stir Bisquick mix, egg product, water and garlic powder; spread in pan.

In 10-inch nonstick skillet, cook bell pepper and onion over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until tender. Stir in chicken, tomatoes and Italian seasoning; cook until hot. Spoon over batter. Sprinkle with cheese.

Bake 20 to 23 minutes or until golden brown; loosen from sides.

Okay made this. It's only the size of a loaf pan, something I missed first time through.

Doubled the crust portion of this, probably could have given it a lot more garlic powder and though I ground some of the Italian herbs over it it was still pretty bland. Used a whole medium sized egg due to the doubling and I didn't have anything to use a yolk in. *shrugs*

Subbed in ground beef for the chicken.
AH! I used regular diced tomatoes, not the Italian-style. The topping was pretty bland too. If you like tomato sauce on your pizza this falls a little short on taste. Heating the tomatoes and seasonings with the ground beef was scary. Kept expecting it to burn. It didn't but I didn't drain the tomatoes very well either.

Put 1/2 C shredded cheddar cheese on it and that was fine.
Baked it 20 minutes. Some of the cheese touched the sides of the pan.
My smoke detector works.

Would I try this again... yes but the spices have to be adjusted. Still it's blandness went well with the chili that used up the rest of the ground beef.
