I'd rather no one notice. Otherwise coworkers will get on the intercom and wish me a happy birthday multiple times.

I always ask for it off (and in all my years of school only had to attend on my birthday twice), but the floral manager has a mandatory class (for Valentines) on that day, on it's a freight day so I can't even ask someone from another department to take over for the day.

Birthdays are also the time at work for performance reviews. I hope all my extra effort this year gets acknowledged.
