Everything has a price and there’d been an answer to his cry for help. Ceranoi had leered at him and said the debt could be paid off another way if Tann wished.

‘Okay bedtime wasn’t bad,’ he thought rubbing the hickey on his neck. ‘Ceranoi was a generous lover and the apron as his only clothing, still not bad, but the scrubbing and cooking and cleaning…’, Tann sighed.

The noise at the door surprised him, “Your parents sent me to succor you.” Coins clinked.

“Not interested,” Tann said, shutting the door, “but thanks.”

‘He’d get the L word from Ceranoi yet.’
