He stretched, curving his back to ease the ache. Five months Jem and Rud had expected to be gone and wanting a last night together the three of them, had placed him in the middle. He’d lost track after their sixth lust filled switching of places.
Cries of welcome and bawdy jests echoed in the street below. Grimacing, he rose to present his own greeting spitefully hoping that their journey had proved similarly fruitful.
Their, “We’re back, Lo-ove,” stuttered to an end.
“We have a small problem,” he snarled. “Guess what it is?” curving his hand over his rounded belly.
