Accidentally caught a supernova in M82 and didn't realize it until the announcement came out. Went back to check, and sure enough. Exposure: 1 minute per image ISO 800 Stack of 15 images.

Guideline for spotting the bright new supernova in M82 that was discovered last night. It should be visible with binoculars in the northern hemisphere, don't miss it!

Okay there was a really neat close up photo of a mother wolf spider with all her little babies catching a ride on the mommy express. She carries them until they're too big to all fit on her and even shares her food with them. I love you all and so did NOT post that photo. Instead you get a supernova. Aren't you pleased?
