I like that the parents are accepting that Leon and Jessie will mate one day, just concerned that they don't screw up their futures by giving in to passion. When you write more of this (and you WILL write more) can you wake up Minxy and make sure he looks like my Minxy (solid grey, quite highly strung, and my one true soul cat. She really was my soul mate cat. She'd sit on my back when I waited for the ambulance after a suicide attempt. She'd come into the bathroom when I was self harming and do her darndest to distract me - she hated it when I hurt myself. I love my current boys, but I miss Minxy so much.)
